Not only is David Lynch making a new series, but Chicago garage band Twin Peaks have announced a fifth member and have unveiled new track ‘Walk To The One You Love’, from their forthcoming album Down In Heaven out on 13th May via Communion. In the true spirit of DIY, the band laid down their new record in the traditional reel to reel tape process at a friend’s studio in Massachusetts. The final effect is a live experience that lays bare both the simplicity and the brilliance of their indie sound, as chirpy guitars accompany a stoner rock attitude. With plenty of dates announced throughout the UK and America, its been a good year already for all the Twin Peaks. - SJ
